Learn all about the animals at the zoo and personal tidbits about our animals from a zookeeper! Check out animal artifacts and get answers to all your questions!
Exciting Animal Encounters
Enjoy some amazing animal encounters. Each encounter is approximately 20 minutes in length and is $20.00 per person ($15.00 if a member). Space is limited so you are able to get a personal experience as the Zoo Keepers passionately share their expertise and experiences on specific animals.
Animal Training
Check out how smart our animals are and what they have learned at our Animal Training demos every Friday and Saturday at 11:30 am from Memorial Day to Labor Day!
Toys for Tigers!
The zookeepers use everyday objects to build toys for the animals. Learn what you might have laying around that could become a bear’s new favorite toy!

Making Memories with Marnita at Pine Grove Zoo
Pine Grove Zoo has a unique opportunity for those age 55 and over to enjoy coffee, a sweet treat and a personal behind-the-scenes experience with their Director, Marnita Van Hoecke.
Marnita has been with Pine Grove Zoo for over 20 years and has been instrumental in the amazing growth of Pine Grove Zoo. She has a lot of experiences to share along with stories of her personal relationships with Pine Grove Zoo’s animal family.
There will be three of these one-of-a-kind experiences this summer. Wednesday, June 23rd, Thursday, July 8th or August 18th from 9:00-10:30 am. You can attend one session or all three sessions. Each session is different and costs just $60.00 or $50.00 if a Pine Grove Zoo Member or you can attend all three sessions for just $150.00 or $130.00 if a Pine Grove Zoo Member.
