Tour the Pine Grove Zoo!

The Zoo’s Education Department strives to make your visit educational, interactive, and fun. The Zoo’s educational programs and opportunities are designed to make a trip to the Zoo an affordable and entertaining adventure for any group. Guided tours are a popular choice for many groups! At the Pine Grove Zoo, guided tours give participants an up-close glimpse into the extraordinary personal and natural histories of the Zoo’s animals. As your group is escorted through the Zoo by an animal educator they will encounter a variety of native and exotic species of animals and get actively involved in touching artifacts and getting answers to all their animal questions!
Guided tours can be general or focus on a single animal or topic. They are available throughout the Zoo season and take between 45 minutes and one hour depending on the age and interest of the group. Tour groups are limited to a minimum of 10, maximum of 25 people for the best possible tour experience (large groups will be split into several tours). Reservations should be made approximately two weeks prior to the arrival date.
Guided tour admissions is $ 7 per person children 1 years of age and over
Self-guided field trips are for groups that want to tour the Zoo at their own pace. The Zoo offers a discounted admission rate for any group of 13 or more unrelated people. Free Educational Presentations between Memorial Day and Labor Day make the Pine Grove Zoo an economical and educational destination for any organization. Reservations should be made at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.
