The
Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is a progressive not-for-profit
membership organization that works hard to make our community
the best in which to live, work, and play. We take pride

Camping at Charles Lindbergh State Park.
Located
on the Mississippi River, Charles A. Lindbergh State Park
offers visitors a quaint picnic area. The picnic area includes
a historic Work Projects Administration (WPA) picnic shelter
and a stone water tower. Fish the waters of the Mississippi
River, canoe Pike Creek, or walk the trails amid grand red
and white pine, aspen, oak and prairie. Look for bald eagles
in the spring and fall. During your visit, stop in at the
historic home of Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr., father of the
famous aviator, Charles A. Lindbergh, Jr. The home is operated
by the Minnesota Historical Society (MHS) and is adjacent
to the park.

Charles
A. Lindbergh State Historic Site is the aviator's boyhood
home, built on the banks of the Mississippi River in 1906.
The historic site includes a completely remodeled Visitor
Center, with new exhibits, films, and a gift shop, as well
as an interpretive trail along the river.

Without
a doubt, the most famous native son of Little Falls, Minnesota
is Charles A. Lindbergh, Jr. He spent his boyhood on the
Mississippi River, enjoying his summer's in a house built
by his father on the west bank of the river south of Little
Falls.

back in time... and enjoy an era gone by. The Linden Hill
Conference and Retreat Center, comprised of two historic
homes, is in a class all its own. It preserves a more gracious
way of life, while still offering the amenities you require
for a successful meeting.

Sisters of Little Falls
The
members of the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls strive
to live the Gospel life, as modeled by Francis and Clare
of Assisi. Responding to the needs of the church and of
society, the Sisters currently serve in 20 states and in
Ecuador and Tanzania. Each Sister brings her unique gifts
and talents to the religious congregation to be utilized
in her ministry. Those ministries include health care, education,
social services, pastoral care, parish and diocesan ministry,
spiritual direction and retreats, and the works of peace
and justice.

Fishing Mueseum and Education Center
The
Minnesota Fishing Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated
to preserving the heritage and history of freshwater fishing
in Minnesota. Exhibits include lures and tackle, historic
boats native to Minnesota and a display of historic motors
that includes the first electrified boat motor, circa 1902.
Museum open Tuesday-Sunday, May-September; Tuesday-Saturday,
October-April. Hours vary seasonally, and the museum is
flexible; call ahead for schedule. Tours of the museum can
be arranged; group tours and rates available. Small fee
for entrance, children under 9 free. If you enjoy fishing,
you will enjoy a trip to this unique museum.

The
Great River Arts Association or GRAA is a private nonprofit
local arts agency, that was established in 1992 by arts
leaders in the Little Falls, MN area to provide business
management services to arts groups and enhance community
arts opportunities.
