Creepy, Crawley Critter Encounters Creepy Crawly Critter Encounters: Creepy
crawly critter encounters is a hands-on educational event that gets Zoo
visitors up close to some of Pine Grove Zoo's most fascinating animals.
Come and learn about snakes, spiders, lizards, and many more
animals that are rarely seen at the zoo. Animal Antics and Escapades
The animal feeding and enrichment events are designed to
teach Zoo visitors about the importance of play. Come and learn
what zoo keeprs feed the animals and how they enrich their daily lives.
Watch animals play and hunt, and find out why it is essential for
their health and well being.

Day
(Members and Volunteers Only)
To show appreciation to our wonderful members for their
support and our dedicated volunteers for their gift
of time and effort, the Zoo will be open to members
and volunteers ONLY. There will be “behind the
scenes” tours, creepy crawly critter encounters
as well as refreshments and drawing for prizes. May: Sat May 1 Spring Clean up Day at the Zoo 1:00-4:00
June: Sun June 6 All Day Family Fun Day~~FREE
from 1:00-3:00
There will be free admission
to the Zoo from 1:00 to 3:00PM for families to come
and enjoy the Zoo. There will also be scheduled activities.

11:00 Story Time
The white pines, west
of the parking lot of Pine Grove Zoo, is the background
for story time. This FREE event finds children and adults
listening to animal stories, moving and grooving to
songs and laughing to the nuttiness of Stephen Miller,
Carnegie Regional Librarian.
Sat June 12
10-4 Zoo Hullabaloo
Friends of Pine Grove
Zoo will be hosting the 6th Annual Zoo Hullabaloo. This
is a carnival for “kids” of all ages. Food,
prizes, and tons of hands-on activities are just some
of the events planned. Look for some new twists this
year with fun and excitement for everyone. The pigs
will be returning. Will you be able to catch one?

This new event will honor
the “Zoo Parents” that have participated
in the Adopt- An-Animal Program. Come and see the “relatives”
in their natural habitats and have some new encounters
with creepy crawly critters.

Sat October 30 4-8PM ZOO BOO!—7th Annual—Trick
& Treat
Friends of Pine Grove
Zoo will be hosting the 7th Annual Zoo Boo. The pumpkin
lit pathways are filled with ghosts and goblins, who
come to trick and treat for a safe and fun evening.
Participating businesses decorate booths distributing
candy to all the bumblebees and Darth Vaders that come
through our haunted Zoo. Come and join us for another
SPOOKtacular time!!

October 30 8:30-10:00 3rd Annual Cage of Terror
The 3rd Annual Cage of
Terror is for people 13 years and older who love to
scream. The event is not for the faint of heart!! The
Cage of Terror, located in the Bear Exhibit, is sure
to make you leery of every dark corner, and is held
the evening of the Zoo Boo!!
